Freshman back Laura Hahnefeldt was named the BIG EAST Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in Syracuse’s 2-1 overtime victory at No. 18 Albany on October 10. All-American Martina Loncarica also earned accolades as she was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Field Hockey Honor roll for her efforts against the Great Danes on Sunday.
